We can’t say Malaysian food is a mixture of different Asian food. Because the word of  “Malaysia food” is just a word of a category. Inside the category we got Malay food, Chinese food, Indian food and so on.

For most people, Malaysia food is very spicy and heavy flavor food. But not all of them are like that. We use many spices and herb to cook, sometime use some tropical fruits too, such as pineapple and coconut. Of course we have some light taste food. But because of the weather, we are used to eat spicy food to stimulate the appetite.

In Malaysia, Dorian is a kind of fruit and also an ingredient when we made local dessert, but sometimes it also use in dishes. Because the unique smell, not everyone can accept it. My favourite is dorian ice cream.

I can cook some of the Malaysian food, but most of the time I can’t find the ingredient in Kochi here, so I seldom cook when I in here.
